Granny Garden

My friends have been calling me a 'granny garden' lately because of all of the floral printed clothes I own. Oops. I don't mind though, who doesn't love florals?

Remember when I said that I wanted to wear a different outfit for each day during the month of May? Well, so far we are halfway through May and I haven't duplicated an outfit yet! I don't plan on it either, I'm loving discovering all of my old clothes once again.

It's finally hot out here, after the weeks of rain we endured. I love pulling out the denim mini skirts and the floral tunics. This tunic cold be worn with leggings, which I have done before, jeans, or a skirt. It ties up in the back so it gives the illusion of a smaller waist. Some of the flowers on my top are tan, so I grabbed my studded gladiator sandals in the same shade to match.

No more granny garden here!

April Showers Bring May Flowers

Hello cupcake's (:

Can you believe that the month of April is already over? It literally flew by. I hope that Mother Nature can exchange all of the April rainfall for some May flowers. May is going to be a stressful month; prom, volunteering, school, work, but I hope that I can keep up with posting and include some great posts :)

My sister (thankfully) helped me organize my closet last weekend. I'm forever grateful because it was beginning to look atrocious. It does look lovely, big, spacious and clean when it is organized. Through cleaning and sorting clothes, I realized how many tops I own that I have not worn in months, or even over a year. So, I presented myself with this challenge. I'm going to wear a different top for everyday of the month. No more hoodies 4/5 days of the week, but I'm going to wear my nice tops and cardigans all throughout the month of May. I'm excited!

I'm going to be posting a few random outfits throughout the week for you all to see. The outfit about would be yesterday's (May 1st). The cardigan was given tome by my mother, who got it from her friend. It is quite large, but I love the look of oversized clothes, as long as you can make it work.
