Campbell's Soup and Wedge Sneakers

Transitioning into spring pieces has proven to be harder than I anticipated since we got 18cm of snow two nights ago. Just when I thought I could put away some of my winter boots... mother nature brings out a snow storm once again. Spring in Canada is at least half of what you consider winter - snow, slush, cold winds, etc.

With my tank top I envisioned an outfit paired with high waisted shorts and ankle boots, but that idea will have to rest for a few months because it is just too damn cold. To keep myself warm, I paired it with my wrap cardigan (also worn here two years ago). I don't get enough wear out of this cardigan. The construction of the cardigan is neat because it has an infinity scarf attached at the bottom. When people see it they say, 'wow, your scarf matches your sweater perfectly!' Actually... they're attached and it's probably one of the most interesting sweaters/cardigans I own.

I don't think you can tell in the photos, but I'm wearing my new black wedge sneakers! I was so excited to wear these out, but I'm trying to be so careful with them. I don't want to wear them outside quite yet, just because they might get nasty salt stains or snow marks from outside. I've ruined too many boots by doing that. I complete the look with my favorite pair of slightly high waisted dark skinny jeans, gray belt, and a messy top knot.

Q: How are you bringing your winter clothing pieces into your spring looks?
